Meo Training is approved to offer funded training under:

Career Boost Funding

for:

UEE40420 – Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation

Entry Requirements:

The entry requirement for this qualification is:

  • UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

or

  • a current ‘Unrestricted Electricians Licence’ or its equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory.

Eligibility for Funded Training – Career Boost

To be eligible for funding under the Skills Assure Career Boost Funding Program, you must:

  • Not be a school student;
  • Be a permanent Queensland resident;
  • Be an Australian citizen, or Australian permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant), or a temporary resident with the right visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen;
  • Not be enrolled in any other qualification, whether funded or unfunded, except for foundation skills qualifications.

Note that for this qualification you may already hold a Certificate IV or higher level qualification not funded through the Higher Level Skills program or SAS Programs for General Training.

Concessional Student Status

Concessional student status applies when the student falls into one of the following categories:

  • Holds a Health Care, Veteran or Pensioner Concession Card issued under Commonwealth law, or is the partner or a dependant of a person who holds such a card and is named on the card;
  • Holds an official form issued under Commonwealth law confirming that they, their partner, or the person of whom they are a dependant is entitled to concessions under a Health Care, Veteran or Pensioner Concession Card;
  • Identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander;
  • Has a disability;
  • Is an adult prisoner.

Payment Schedule

Enrolment – $145 ($70 for concession)

Before practical date (remaining) – $350 ( $172 for concession)

Course Duration

Students have 12 months to complete the qualification. An extension can be given at the discretion of MEO Training if properly justified.
