Course Overview
This qualification covers competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair, maintain and commission systems and devices for measurement and recording of physical/chemical phenomenon and related process control systems.

Duration
Our flexible delivery allows students to progress at their own pace, therefore the duration will vary with experience and capabilities of different students.
The recommended duration of this qualification is 352h, for students that need to complete all the 28 core units + 7 elective units that are part of this qualification. From these, 6 of the core units can be credit transferred from the Australian Electrical Licence.
Additionally, students that have a Cert. IV in Electrical instrumentation (UEE40420 or 40411) are eligible for Credit Transfer for 10 more core units, having to complete only a total of 19 units. For those who also have a Cert.III in Instrumentation and Control (UEE31220 or 30211), 11 more units can be credit transferred, leaving a total of 8 units to be completed.

Delivery
This course consists of two parts:
- Theory delivery and assessments - The theory delivery and assessments are to be done online with trainer support.
- Practical delivery and assessessments - The practial delivery and assessmentsneed to be done on campus.
