Course Overview
This qualification covers competencies to develop, select, install, commission, maintain and diagnose faults/malfunctions on electrical, instrumentation and control equipment and systems.
Duration
Our flexible delivery allows students to progress at their own pace, therefore the duration will vary with experience and capabilities of different students.
The recommended duration of this qualification is 213h, for students that need to complete all the 17 core units + 3 elective units that are part of this qualification.
Students that have a Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control (UEE31220 or UEE31211) will have Credit transfer to 13 units, so they will only need to complete a total of 7 units.
Students that have a Cert. IV in Electrical Instrumentation (UEE40220 or UEE40411) + a Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control (UEE31220 or UEE31211) will have Credit transfer to 13 units, so they will only need to complete a total of 3 units.
Delivery
This course consists of two parts:
- Theory delivery and assessments - The theory delivery and assessments can be done online with trainer support.
- Practical delivery and assessessments - The practial delivery and assessments are to be done on campus, except for a few units that can be completed online. If upgrading from Cert.III in Instrumentation and Control, all practicals can be done online.
Contact us to know more about our flexible delivery, Credit Transfers and how we can help you.
Location
Our classes will take place at our Brisbane Campus at Suite 6, 28 Old Cleveland Road, Stones Corner, Brisbane, QLD.
Remote Classes in Sydney take place at 46 Edward Street, Summer Hill (subject to confirmation).
For other locations, please Contact us. We are available to take our training to where is needed (conditions apply - a minimum number of students is needed for remote classes).
